Elizabeth F. Getman

An associate with Sandler, Reiff & Young, P.C., Elizabeth Getman advises political action committees and 527 organizations, non-profit organizations, campaigns, and political party committees. She counsels clients on complying with state and federal campaign finance and ethics laws and represents them before state regulatory agencies.

Ms. Getman previously worked for U.S. Senators Debbie Stabenow and Ben Cardin as well as U.S. Congressman Michael Michaud. Her service to these members of Congress involved, among other matters, assisting the development of legislation pending before the Senate Judiciary Committee and working on a senatorial campaign. While in law school at Catholic University, Ms. Getman clerked at the U.S. Court of Federal Claims and the Office of the General Counsel of the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan Police Department. Prior to law school, she assisted with the representation of tax-exempt organizations at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius, LLP.
